Growing, Reading, and Rebuilding
A Week of Growth at Hamilton Christian Academy
It was another meaningful week at Hamilton Christian Academy as we continued to see our students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
This week, parents received their child’s Quarter 1 Progress Report by email. These reports provide families with a glimpse into how students are progressing in their classes and give parents and teachers an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments while also identifying areas where students can continue to grow. We are thankful for the partnership between our school and families as we work together to encourage every student to do their best.
Growing Through Reading
Our students are also making great strides in their reading through Accelerated Reader! During the quarter, our 2nd through 5th grade students collectively read 57 books and passed 57 quizzes, totaling an impressive 379,149 words read.
We are proud of the time and effort our students are putting into developing their reading skills. Every book opens the door to new ideas, adventures, knowledge, and opportunities to grow. Keep reading, Warriors!

Chapel: Building Faith and Character
Our students had meaningful opportunities to grow in their faith and character during chapel this week.
PreK3–3rd Grade: Rebuilding the Walls
Our PreK3 through 3rd grade students gathered for chapel and learned about Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem.
Through Nehemiah’s story, our students were reminded that God gives us strength and courage to do difficult things. Rebuilding the walls was a huge task, but Nehemiah trusted God, prayed, and encouraged the people to work together.
The lesson gave our students an opportunity to think about what it means to work together, persevere when something is difficult, and trust God along the way. Just as the people of Jerusalem worked together to rebuild their city, we are reminded that each person has an important part to play in building a strong community.
4th–8th Grade: The of Integrity
Our 4th through 8th grade students focused on another important aspect of building strong character: integrity.
During chapel, students discussed what integrity means and why living a life of integrity is meaningful. They explored the importance of doing what is right even when no one is watching, being honest in our words and actions, and allowing our choices to reflect the values we say we believe.
Integrity is not simply about one big decision; it is developed through the everyday choices we make. Our students were encouraged to consider how their actions, attitudes, and decisions can demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and strong character both at school and at home.
What a wonderful reminder for all of us that growth takes patience, effort, teamwork, faith, and character.
We are grateful for another week at Hamilton Christian Academy filled with opportunities to learn, grow, serve, and follow God. From celebrating academic progress and reading accomplishments to growing in faith and character, our students continue to give us many reasons to be proud.
